Oklahoma City University Opera and Music Theater
A great source of musical theater and opera, well known for the students who have graduated here - Kristin Chenoweth among the current famous.  Shows run from Sep  thru Apr.
 

 
Oklahoma Science Museum
A wonderful discovery that is a kid-friendly place with a planetarium, IMAX theater and lots of science exhibits.
 

 
Oklahoma County Downtown Library
Newly built library includes concerts, cafe and just fun browsing through the isles.
 

 
Myriad Gardens and Crystal Bridge
An oasis of two tropical zones - wet (south end) and dry (north end). Great photography location.

Midtown is the hottest new part of the renovation of downtown OKC.  From about 4th St to 13th Street this area if full of hot restaurants, shops and living spaces.

Just north of OKC is Guthrie, the old Oklahoma Territory capital with the greatest concentration of Victorian architecture in the world within one continuous area.

Central Oklahoma area has its share of severe weather, but we also have the NWC which is instrumental in weather research and advanced warnings.  Take a tour of the facility and see for yourself the marvelous new equipment and techniques for weather detection and warning.
 

 
University of Oklahoma Museum of Art, Norman, OK

Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK
About an hour north of OKC is the first Oklahoma land grant university, home of one of the best Agriculture and Veterinary schools in the US as well as Eskimo Joe's and other great attractions.  BTW, it is also home to one of the best apparel design colleges.
