NEWS FLASH
What great news and fabulous deal for my students that Helen Enox Fabrics, 1332 SW 59th is offering my students for the jacket class.  It's such a great deal, that I'm doing to take February 4th, from 1 - 3 pm that day and be there to take measurements, make recommendations, help with pattern selection, and just generally offer help and advice on starting the jacket process with you!

If you can't make it then, let me know (click here) and I'll meet you there on a time convenient with our schedules.

This is such a great deal and so generous of Helen Enox - do not miss out!

PLEASE READ BEFORE SELECTING PATTERN/PROJECT
This class includes four class sessions.  Please select a pattern for your sewing knowledge and level.  If you are a beginner or novice, selecting a very difficult pattern, will cause the class to be long for you.  If you are familiar with sewing and sewing techniques, and require some technical methods to finish the jacket, select your pattern accordingly.

It is very important that this class remain enjoyable and pertinent for your sewing level.  There will be many skill levels in this class, which is what I would like to have for the sake of convenience for my students.  And it is amazing what you can learn by listening and watching other students and the exchange between the me and the student.

These small requirements help to make the class enjoyable and extremely helpful for each student.

If you are unsure about what pattern difficulty or skill level to choose, do not hesitate to email me here.

Ideas for Jacket Class
I love doing all sorts of things...please don't limit yourself to making up a jacket from "scratch" .  Here are some ideas:

  • Refashion old jacket

  • Learn how to reshape, restyle old pattern(s)

  • Learn fitting and style guidelines for you and how to incorporate them into your pattern(s)

Think outside the box, and let's do something exciting and useful for you!
